Nathan Sosa is the Manager of both the National Tax Department and the Audit Defense Division at Hall CPA. He serves as a strategic leader responsible for national tax education, technical guidance, and audit defense strategy across the firm. Nathan specializes in consulting on high-level tax matters including Qualified Opportunity Zone structuring, partnership taxation, and Section 469 passive activity considerations, particularly within the real estate and small business sectors.
In his current role, Nathan directs complex tax research initiatives and develops in-depth continuing education programs to ensure the firm’s technical teams remain aligned with evolving legislation and compliance standards. He also leads technical training and provides authoritative insight on sophisticated tax strategies to both internal teams and external professionals.
Prior to joining Hall CPA, Nathan held tax advisory and supervisory roles at Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer, P.C., and served as a Tax Consultant at Robison Gary Johnson & Associates. His experience spans both client-facing tax strategy and back-end technical research, with a consistent emphasis on real estate and closely held entities.
Nathan holds a Master of Taxation from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Oklahoma Baptist University. He is a licensed CPA and a trusted resource for peers and professionals seeking clarity in complex tax matters.
